The Super V platform had proven to be a good seller so Cannondale looked to expand it into other areas with a minimum of investement. The so-called "freeriders" were looking for longer travel bikes that would absorb larger impacts. Cannondale added the Moto FR fork to the Super V frame to make their freeride series of bikes. At one time, Cannondale tried to make trademark the term freeride so other couldn't use it! This bike was sold by us when new and was was very lightly used. We recently received it as a trade in and decided to add it to the collection.
