    1991 Team Fat Chance

I've not seen any printed information about this model so most of this is based on stories that we have been told plus some semi-educated guesses.  This was a Taiwanese built, Canadian assembled bike that was specifically designed for the Canadian market.  The low slung frame with the extended seat tube is a style favored by the Canadian market.  This may have also been a test to see if their was interest in an imported Fat Chance bike.  It would have been a much smaller risk to the Fat Chance reputation to have a bike fail in Canada than in the US.  Since they weren't imported into the US, I am guessing that the experiment was deemed a failure.  Rumor has it that Chris Chance was never particularly fond of these bikes.
