This is one of the earlier (non-elevated stay) Mantis Valkyrie X frames. The crossing tubes allow for smaller triangles so smaller, lighter tubing can be used. The frame was painted in a multi-colored fade, taped off with a random looking web design and then shot with black. The frame is from 1989 but the parts were slowly changed over the years. Since the parts were upgraded by the original owner, and they match so well, we have left the bike in its "upgraded" state.
