The Trimble Carbon Cross frame was the first iteration of the Trimble design. This original style frame lacked the extra bottom bracket reinforcement of the later Inverse 4 frames. The lack of reinforcement led to a flexible bottom bracket and problematic front derailleur mounting. There were relatively few frames made in this style and they often cracked making them even more rare. UPDATE: We have heard from Brent Trimble that there were 8 Carbon Cross frames produced.
This particular bike features the one-piece composite bar and stem combo which was designed by Brent's brother Roo.
