    1987 JP Weigle

Peter is more known for his beautifully crafted road bikes but an occasional mountain bike does sneak out of the work shop. This one features a combination of lugs and fillet brazing.  The Weigle-made stem attaches to a stub brazed to the fork and uses a modified Campagnolo derailleur cable guide for the front brake cable.  Components are a host of Specialized branded parts with a Shimano drive train.  The crank has a fourth chainring giving this bike a total of 24 speeds (4 x 6).  The bike has been used pretty hard but cleaned up surprisingly well.
