Serial number SM085 makes this one of the earlier bikes built. Fillet brazed frame and fork covered in Pooftaflage paint. Many of the early mountain bikes were available in a camouflage paint scheme and the Pooftaflage was a spoof of these early camo bikes. Not exactly sure where this one would blend in but who knows? Parts build is mostly Shimano Deore XT M700 deer head with a Suntour Roller Cam rear brake and no logo Chris King headset. Brazing quality is nice and has neat fish mouth details on the stays.
The "Scoboni" name on the frame and serial number comes from Ross's early bike club days. Everyone thought it would be cool to have Italian names and it Ross became Roscoe became Scoboni.
