    1983 Fat Chance

Early example of a Fat Chance.  This one has the really nice box crown fork with Reynolds 531 fork blades.  The Grove Innovations Hammerhead is a one-piece bar and stem combo.  It attaches to the bike via a double wedge system.  The regular wedge goes into the fork steerer tube while the second wedge goes into the stem.  When the stem bolt is tightened it draws both wedges tight, neat system.  This particular bike has been pretty well used but it is tough to find the earlier Fat Chance bikes in any condition.
